Vivid Resume uses specialized AI designed for resume writing. Upload your existing resume or enter your information, paste a job description, and our AI will create a tailored resume that highlights your relevant skills and experience for that specific role. The AI only uses information you provide - it never fabricates experience.
No! You can upload an existing resume for faster processing, or manually enter your work history, education, and skills. Our AI will work with whatever information you provide.
We accept PDF, DOCX, and TXT files for upload. Generated resumes can be downloaded in PDF or DOCX format for maximum compatibility with applicant tracking systems.
Most resumes are generated within 2-3 minutes. Complex resumes with extensive work history may take slightly longer. You'll receive an email notification when your resume is ready.
Credits & Billing

Each resume generation costs 1 credit. You purchase credits in packages (5, 10, 20, or 50 credits). Credits never expire unless your account is inactive for over 2 years.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through our secure Stripe payment processor. We do not store your credit card information.
All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. However, if you experience technical issues preventing you from using your credits, please contact support within 7 days and we'll help resolve the issue.
No! Credits remain valid indefinitely unless your account is inactive for more than 2 years. We'll send you reminder emails before any credits are at risk of expiring.
Currently, credits are non-transferable and tied to individual accounts. We're working on a gift card feature for future releases.

Our AI only uses information from your uploaded resume and the job description. It rephrases and reorganizes your existing experience to better match the role, but never invents skills, accomplishments, or work history. If something appears in your resume that you didn't provide, report it and we'll fix it immediately.
We're committed to natural-sounding resumes that don't scream "AI-generated." If your resume sounds robotic or generic, let us know and we'll reprocess it at no charge until it sounds human. Quality is our guarantee.
ChatGPT is general-purpose AI that often produces robotic text and can fabricate information. Vivid is specialized AI built specifically for resume writing, with multiple quality checks to ensure natural language. We also track actual interview outcomes to continuously improve what works.
Yes! Your resume dashboard includes a before/after comparison toggle so you can see exactly what was modified. We believe in transparency - you should always know what changed and why.

Yes! Every resume generation includes an optional matching cover letter tailored to the same job description. Cover letters are included in your credit purchase.
Absolutely! We recommend creating a customized resume for each job you apply to. Each generation uses 1 credit, and you can store unlimited resumes in your account.
We currently offer 4 professionally designed templates: Modern, Classic, Minimal, and Creative. All templates are ATS-compatible and can be customized with your preferred colors and formatting.
Your resume dashboard shows all generated resumes with the job title and company name. You can add notes and tags to help track your applications.
This feature is coming soon! For now, you can use your generated resume content to update your LinkedIn profile manually.
Account & Security

Yes. We use bank-level encryption (TLS/SSL) for all data transmission, encrypt sensitive data at rest, and host on secure AWS infrastructure. We never sell your personal information.
Only you can access your resumes. We do not share, sell, or display your resume content to anyone without your explicit permission.
Yes. You can permanently delete your account from Settings > Data Privacy. This will erase all your personal data, resumes, and purchase history in compliance with GDPR.
Go to Settings > Data Privacy > Export Data. You'll receive a downloadable file with all your personal information, resumes, and account activity.
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page. We'll email you a secure reset link valid for 1 hour. If you don't receive it, check your spam folder or contact support.
Referral Program

Share your unique referral link with friends. When they sign up and make their first purchase, you both earn bonus credits! You get 2 credits and they get 1 credit.
No limit! Refer as many people as you want and earn unlimited credits. Top referrers may qualify for special perks and VIP status.
Credits are added to your account within 24 hours after your referral makes their first purchase. You'll receive an email notification.
No. Self-referrals are prohibited and will result in credit forfeiture and potential account suspension.
Troubleshooting

First, check that your uploaded file is in PDF, DOCX, or TXT format and under 10MB. If the issue persists, contact support with your request ID and we'll investigate. Failed generations do not consume credits.
Check your spam/junk folder. If it's not there, click "Resend Verification Email" on the verification page. If you still don't receive it, contact support.
Download links expire after 7 days for security. If your link expired, you can regenerate the download from your resume dashboard at no additional cost.
This is rare but can happen due to payment processing delays. Credits usually appear within 5 minutes. If they don't, check your billing history or contact support with your transaction ID.
