4. Credits and Payments
Credit System
Vivid Resume operates on a credit-based system. Each resume generation consumes credits from your account balance.
Credits are purchased in packages via Stripe
Credits do not expire unless your account is inactive for 2+ years
Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable
Pricing is subject to change with 30 days notice
Refund Policy
All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. If you experience technical issues preventing you from using credits, contact our support team within 7 days for assistance.
5. User Content and Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you provide (resume information, job descriptions, etc.). By using our service, you grant us a limited license to:
Process your content to generate resumes and cover letters
Store your content securely in our systems
Use anonymized, aggregated data for service improvement
Generated Content
You own the resumes and cover letters we generate for you. However:
We retain the right to display examples (with your permission)
You are responsible for verifying accuracy before submission
AI-generated content should be reviewed and customized
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to:
Use the service for illegal purposes
Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Attempt to circumvent credit requirements or abuse the system
Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from our platform
Resell or redistribute our services without permission
Interfere with the security or operation of our service
Use automated tools to access the service (bots, scrapers)
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination.
7. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee:
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Specific uptime percentages (though we target 99.9%)
That generated content will result in job offers
Compatibility with all ATS systems (though we optimize for most)
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
8. Disclaimers and Limitations
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
We make no guarantees about:
Job application success or interview rates
Accuracy of AI-generated content (users must verify)
Suitability for specific industries or roles
Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
9. Account Termination
By You
You may close your account at any time from Settings. Unused credits will be forfeited upon account deletion.
By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
Violate these Terms of Service
Engage in fraudulent activity
Remain inactive for over 2 years
Abuse customer support or referral systems
10. Referral Program
Our referral program allows you to earn credits by inviting others. Rules:
Credits are awarded when referred users make their first purchase
Self-referrals and fraudulent referrals are prohibited
We reserve the right to modify or terminate the program
Abuse may result in credit forfeiture and account termination
